Wednesday Club
A cup of tea and a chat after short mat bowls
The club meets every Wednesday afternoon throughout the year (except for a summer break in August)
If you like the sound of a recreational afternoon in the pleasing environment of the spacious Arun room at the Village Hall. Then please contact Rosemary Russell (01798 873174) or Liz Sollom (01798 812573).
Enjoy a welcome change from the domestic routine, meet new people of comparable age, make friends and take part in the various table games and other activities, or, perhaps simply watch and chat and relax over tea and cakes.
Playing games
Rosemary Russell and Liz Sollom will give you a warm welcome and tell you more of the club's activities: Seasonal holidays, outings to regional events etc. Meanwhile you should know the basics as follows
Club meets :2.00 - 4.00pm each Wednesday.
Annual membership fee: £5.00 per annum.
Afternoon refreshments: 50 pence.
Depending on where you live - and only if you are also a member of the Lunch Club - the minibus will take you to and from the Village Hall.
