PiP
Pop into Pulborough

As the title suggests - feel free to "just pop in" to the Village Hall, where, in the Meadows room, Mrs Jean Seagrim will provide a warm welcome to this entirely informal gathering. No membership fee required, just a modest charge if you chose to enjoy the tea, coffee and sample the tempting variety of cakes and biscuits.

Sit quietly with a friend and enjoy your coffee break or, if you wish, get to know some of the friendly volunteers and learn a little of what PiP has to offer.

There is also tombola and a sales table with a wonderful collection of greetings cards.

There are a number of core activities offered monthly to specific groups.

On the first Tuesday of the month, a group for exercise , collected by Dr Anne Ranken, is led by NHS trained staff and aims to prevent falls in older people.

On the second Tuesday, knitters of all skill levels gather in a corner of the Meadows room for exchange of tips, patterns etc. The output of these industrious knitters goes to Africa in regions where the nights are cold.

On the third Tuesday there is a meeting for those with sight problems.

If you would like to know more of PiP's caring and friendly ways call Mrs Jean Seagrim 01798 872540.

Remember, its every Tuesday, anytime from 9.30 to 11.30, and its just a few minutes walk from the shops to the Village Hall.
